The West Seneca Central School District has anticipated vacancies for two School Psychologist Interns for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. These positions are full-time, paid internship positions working district-wide with our psychologist and administrative teams.
Our district's School Psychologists are primarily responsible for conducting multidisciplinary evaluations for Special Education eligibility and serve as chairpersons for the Committee on Special Education and Section 504 Committee. In addition to this role, School Psychologists also engage in consultation, conduct functional behavioral assessments, assist with creating behavior improvement plans, lead teams in data-based decision-making, and provide guidance when building leaders express interest in multi-tiered systems of support. On a limited basis, School Psychologists may also provide counseling support and lead social skills groups for students with disabilities. A School Psychologist Intern will assist their supervisor with these duties under direct training and supervision. Supervision is tailored to individual needs and program requirements.
Required Qualifications: Enrollment in a School Psychology graduate program, having completed prerequisite coursework to begin the internship requirement.
