The West Seneca Central School District is currently seeking a long-term substitute in the Science tenure area beginning approximately January 21, 2026 through June 30, 2026.
The selected candidate will receive teacher's salary and benefits commensurate and prorated to the appointment time frame. Salary and benefits paid according to the West Seneca Teachers' Association collective bargaining agreement.
This will be a full-time, temporary appointment for an individual who is certified to teach Science. The selected candidate will teach Chemistry and Environmental Science at the high school level.
Daily Schedule: Two (2) sections - General Chemistry Three (3) sections - Environmental Science
Required Certification: Chemistry 7-12

The candidate must be able to demonstrate planning and preparation, instructional skills; effective classroom management and be motivated to engage in continuous professional development. A science teacher is responsible for creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment and to assist every student in reaching his/her potential.
