Job Description

The West Seneca Central School District is seeking an ESL/ENL Long-Term Substitute Teacher to teach English as a New Language to East Senior High School students.  This assignment will include integrated co-teaching in Earth Science, ELA and Algebra 1A, as well as stand-alone instruction and push in and pull out services as per mandates.  The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work with students at grade levels 9-12.

This position is a full-time, temporary appointment beginning immediately through the end of the 2025-2026 school year.

The selected candidate will receive a teacher's salary and benefits paid according to the West Seneca Teacher's Association's collective bargaining agreement, commensurate and prorated to the appointment timeframe.

Job Qualifications

Required Certification(s):  Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages(TESOL)
