West Seneca Central School District is seeking a qualified candidate for the following opening at the Transportation Department: 

Clerk Typist, P/T — This is a 12-month position.  

Approximate hours:  9:00 am - 12:45 pm Monday - Friday 

 

Part-time positions receive paid personal and leave days and are eligible for membership in the NYS Retirement System.

 

• Provide general clerical support to the Transportation Department.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate transportation records, reports, and related documentation.
• Answer and direct telephone calls and assist staff, drivers, mechanics, and other department personnel as needed.
• Prepare, process, organize, and maintain work orders, invoices, forms, and other departmental records.
• Assist with filing, document organization, correspondence, and routine office functions.
• Support the Head Mechanic with scheduling, maintenance records, work orders, and other clerical responsibilities.
• Assist with tracking and processing transportation and maintenance-related documentation.
• Communicate professionally with Transportation Department staff, district personnel, vendors, and the public.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling departmental information.
