The West Seneca Central School District has vacancies for teachers in the Education of Children with Handicapping Conditions - General Special Education tenure area. These positions will be probationary appointments for individuals who are certified to teach Special Education at the elementary and secondary levels.
The ideal candidates must be able to demonstrate planning and preparation, instructional skills, effective classroom management and be motivated to engage in continuous professional development.
Salary and benefits are paid according to the West Seneca Teachers' Association collective bargaining agreement.
Required Certification: Students with Disabilties B-2, Students with Disabilities 1-6, Students with Disabilities - Generalist 7-12 -or- Special Education - All Grades
Additional certification(s) preferred: Literacy, any content area (i.e. ELA, Mathematics, Science and/or Social Studies Gr 7-12)
